What is Global Locals?
Global Locals is an online registry created by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador (GNL) to connect Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, and all those who love Newfoundland and Labrador, to the province, regardless of where they are in the world.
How we use your information
The registry is voluntary, and the information collected is used to populate a database of individuals wishing to stay connected to the province and to share their experience, knowledge and expertise to inform a range of social and economic policy issues facing Newfoundland and Labrador.
If you join this registry, you will be informed of engagement activities that relate to your interests and expertise. These activities could include online questionnaires, virtual or in-person consultations and/or invitations to in-market events. Your information may also be forwarded to other government departments or agencies for the purpose of specific engagement activities. You may also receive an email newsletter every few weeks, which contains good news stories and opportunities in the province.
For any uses beyond those mentioned above, GNL will contact you to receive your consent prior to sharing your information with any government department or agency. Your information will not be shared with individuals or entities outside GNL.
